Calling all Indy Girls! Looking for something fun/romantic to do on Thursday evenings? Greenwood Park Mall is still having their FREE summer concert series outside weekly from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Ross and I have already attended three concerts and have had so much fun every time.
What I love about the Summer concert series is that each Thursday is different. For every concert, there is a new band that plays their own definition of good music. Personally, I enjoy almost every genre of music out there. (wellll—let’s leave out heavy metal) So any concert I attend, I’m always bobbing my head, singing, and pretending like I know all the words. They play country, pop, easy rock, and so much more. And if you’re a 90’s baby like me, you will get to hear all the 90’s classics.
Not only does Greenwood Park Mall have amazing music, they also have food/drinks and fun giveaways that are always going on. Ross and I loved exploring around the mall, eating/drinking, and enjoying our time belting out all the songs. I was even able to enjoy a dance or two with the most precious older gentleman who loved being out on that dance floor.
Being able to go to a free concert, relax, and let things go for a few hours every week is therapeutic for Ross and I. As many of you know, we’ve been moving into our new home. With moving comes great stress. When we go to the concerts, we are able to wind down and enjoy our time together as a couple. We’ve turned each Thursday evening into a little date night. We will pick a spot to eat at the mall and then head on over to the concert and get our groove on. It’s little moments like these that make date nights so special and memorable.
