Back to School/Daycare Essentials

THIS POST WAS SPONSORED BY SPECIALTY RETAILERS, INC

Hi Momma!  It’s back to school time, which means I’m going back to work and my little guy is going back to daycare.  AHHH, so much to do!

We went shopping at Gordmans (obviously) to get a few essentials (and I may have added a few extras to the cart, too!) that we will need for this year! 🙂

Okay, so let’s start with daycare!  We’ve been looking for a mini backpack for Rhett to have to take back and forth to daycare.  Things like his sippy cups, his snack packs, and toys that he may need are going to fit perfectly inside this ADORABLE tiny bookbag.  Like……. how is this SO cute!?  I semi screamed when I saw it because it is JUST what we’d been looking for! 🙂

It’s super easy to pack his things in the night before and have it all ready to go to daycare in the morning.  The material is so nice and I love that it has that faux leather classic vibe.  Ross of course likes that it’s Michael Jordan. SOLD!

Here is the extra —- We saw this little lawn mower and knew that Rhett had to have it.  The moment Rhett laid eyes on it, he was glued.  All he wanted to do was walk down the aisles with it, haha!  So….we spent a good 10 minutes walking down aisle by aisle with the lawn mower.  I couldn’t say no, so we got it.  Maybe he can help Ross mow the lawn this August?! 🙂

Little man also got himself a little faux leather jacket to match!  Did you see our instagram stories!?  He LOVVVEEEED it!  We got it in a size 18 month because it will be perfect for him to wear throughout the fall in winter as he goes from daycare to home!  This faux leather jacket is HANDS DOWN  the cutest piece of baby/toddler clothing he has!

And lastly for little man is…drum roll pleeasseee…..his adorably cute and funny LUNCHBOX! We’ve already used this multiple times for back and forth packing of his meals.  We’ve taken it to the park, to gma and gpa’s, and for quick snacks on the go!  He doesn’t need it for daycare this year, but it would have been perfect last year to transport his bottles and milk!

The greatest thing about these lunch boxes (and a few other back to school items) is that Gordmans and No Kid Hungry have partnered together to raise awareness about childhood hunger here in the United States!  There are thirteen million kiddos in the US that are hungry!   Gordmans and No Kid Hungry Organization not only want to raise awareness about this issue, but also raise money to help those kiddos!

So, from now until August 31, for every purchase of a participating item, Gordmans is donating 50% of the sales price to the No Kid Hungry Foundation!  AHHH, that’s amazing!  If you want to find out where a Gordmans store is near you, check out their website, www.gordmans.com.  You can also support the cause by posting a photo on instagram with the hashtag, #FuelKidsFutures .  Gordmans will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry for every hashtag thats on Instagram from July 21st to August 31.

Okay, so mommas can’t go into a store and find something super cute that they’ve been wanting to get for so long…and not get it, right!?

I stumbled across these leopard print rain boots and HAD to pick up a pair!  These boots will be perfect for those rainy days.

Hope all you mamas have a great back to school season… whether it be actual school, daycare, etc.  We got this! <3

Until next time,

Katelyn
