Spinning into Spring with Piace Boutique

Happy Wednesday, ladies. Piace Boutique and I are so excited to join together and bring you a new post all about transitioning your wardrobe into Spring.  Let’s just stop right here and do a little dance.  WE’RE ALMOST TO SPRING! This is the time when the flowers bloom, its begins warming up, and your outfits get a little springier (my favorite made up word).  Piace boutique is a boutique ran by a pair of sister-in-laws from Indiana.  As you know, I too, am from Indiana and love shopping local. Supporting local companies is something super important to me, especially when they have amazing trendy & classic pieces for affordable prices!

Today, I have on the sunshine in my heart maxi dress.  This is a wrap dress with bright color pops of floral.  It’s long, flowy, and breathable.  I love wearing these long maxis to lunch, shopping, or even a date night out.  You can dress them up with a choker and high heels or dress it down with a pair of sandals and a messy bun.  I linked some other similar options that are also from Piace, below!

When transitioning my outfits into Spring, I always carry around a little denim jacket or light blazer/moto jacket to throw on if it gets cooler out.  These dresses would look fabulous with either of those pieces, depending on your personal style.

Come the first sign of birds chirping, I also start bringing out my chunky wedges and peep toe shoes.  Now that winter is over, my toes can finally see sunlight again.  Speaking of which, I probably need a pedicure, haha.  These shoes are perfect for the in between stage of winter and summer because they give a little breeze, but still cover most of your feet.

I hope you enjoyed my simple take on transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring.  Basically, I lose the heavy layers and swap them out for lighter and definitely brighter pieces.  Spring is the time for pastels and bright colors.  Spring calls for a fresh start and trying something new.
